SCRIPTURES. We believe in the infallible, verbal inspiration of the whole Bible and that the Bible is the sole authority for faith and practice (Psalm 119:160; 2 Tim. 3:16,17). The Bible is the collection of 66 books, from Genesis to Revelation. The Bible is Holy and is the very word of God. The Bible was written by holy men of old, as they were moved by the Holy Spirit in such a definite way that their writings were supernaturally and verbally inspired and free from error. This is called Mechanical Dictation. We are staunch defenders of the King James Bible. We are fully persuaded that the King James Bible is the Word of God and that there are no errors in it. We are a King James only church. [Contents]

LOVE. We believe that love for another as Jesus loves the believer manifests our discipleship, proves our love for God and symbolizes our authority as New Testament churches. Love is therefore the great commandment of the Lord Jesus Christ upon which all others are dependent (Matthew 22:35 & 40: John 13:34, John 15:12: 1 John 4:7-21: I John 5:1-3: Rev. 2:4 & 5). [Contents]

TRINITY. We believe in the personal triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, equal in divine perfection (Matthew 28:19). [Contents]

CREATION. We believe in direct and instant creation, that it was not a process, but was completed in six literal days. We reject the Gap Theory, the Accommodation Theory, the Long Day Theory, or any other theory that tries to accommodate evolution and unbelieving science with the Word of God (Gen. 1 & 2; Heb. 11:3; John 1:3). [Contents]

SATAN. We believe that Satan is a fallen angel, the archenemy of God and man, the unholy god of this world, and that his destiny is the eternal lake of fire (Isa.14:12-15; Ezek. 28:11-19; Matt. 25:41; 2 Corinthians 4:4; Eph. 6:10-17; Rev.20:10). [Contents]

BIRTH OF CHRIST. We believe in the virgin birth and sinless humanity of Jesus Christ (Matthew 1:18-20; 2 Cor.5-21; 1 Peter 2:22). [Contents]

DEITY OF CHRIST. We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ (John 10:30; John 1:1 & 14; 2 Corinthians 5:19). [Contents]

HOLY SPIRIT. We believe the Holy Spirit is the divine Administrator for Jesus Christ in His churches (Luke 24:49; John 14:16,17; Acts 1:4,5; Acts 2:1-4). [Contents]

GIFTS. We believe that miraculous spiritual manifestation gifts were done away when the Bible was completed. Faith, Hope and Love are the vital abiding Spiritual Gifts (1 Corinthians 12-14). [Contents]

SIN. We believe that Man was created in the image of God and lived in innocency until he fell by voluntary transgression from his sinless state, the result being that all mankind are sinners (Gen. 1:26; Gen.3:6-24; Romans 5:12, 19). [Contents]

DEATH OF CHRIST. We believe that the suffering and death of Jesus Christ was substitutionary for all mankind and is effficaciuos only to those who believe (Isa. 53:6; Heb. 2:9; 1 Peter 3; 2 Peter 3:9; 1 John 2:2). [Contents]

RESURRECTION. We believe in the bodily resurrection and ascension of Christ and the bodily resurrection of his saints (Matthew 28:1-7; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Corinthians 15:42-58; 1 Thess. 4:13-18). [Contents]

RETURN OF CHRIST. We believe in the personal, imminent, pretribulational rapture of all believers, the premillenial return of the Lord Jesus Christ to earth with His saints to establish His millennial kingdom. I Thess. 4:16,17 "For the Lord himself shall desced from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:  and so shall we ever be with the Lord." (Mark 13:30-37; I Corinthians 15:51-53; I Thess. 1:10, 4:13-18; 5:9-10; Rev. 19:11-16; Rev. 20:1-6) [Contents]

SALVATION. We believe that the depraved sinner is saved wholly by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and the requisites to regeneration are repentance from sin and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (Luke 13:3-5; John 3: 16-18; Acts 20-21; Rom. 6:23 Eph. 2:8-9), and that the Holy Spirit convicts sinners, regenerates, seals, secures, and indwells every believer (John 3:6; John 16:8-9; Romans 9:9-11; 1 Corinthians 6:19-20; Eph. 4:30; Titus 3:5). We reject Calvinism. [Contents]

ETERNAL SECURITY. We believe that all who trust Jesus Christ for salvation are eternally secure in him and shall not perish (John 3:36; John 5:24; John 10:27-30; Romans 8:35-39; Heb. 10:39; I Peter 1:5). [Contents]

BELIEVERS. We believe that God deals with believers as his children, that He chastises the disobedient, and that He rewards the obedient (Matt. 16:27; Matt. 25:14-23; John 1:12; Heb.12:5-11; 2 John 8; Rev. 22:12). Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. (1 Peter 1:16) [Contents]

LOCAL CHURCH. We believe that Jesus Christ established His church during His ministry on earth and that it is always local, visible assembly of scripturally baptized believers in covenant relationship to carry  out the commission of the Lord Jesus Christ, and each church is an independent, self-governing body, and no other ecclesiastical body may exercise authority over it. We believe that Jesus Christ gave the Great Commission to the New Testament churches only, and that He promised perpetuity of His churches (Matthew 4:18-22; Matthew 16:18; Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 1:14-20; John 1; Eph. 3:21). [Contents]

ORDINANCES. We believe that there are two pictorial-ordinances in the Lords churches: Baptism and the Lords Supper. Scriptural baptism is the immersion of penitent believers in water, administered by the authority of a New Testament church in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Lord's Supper is a memorial ordinance, restricted to the members of the church observing the ordinance (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 8:12 & 38; Romans 6:4; 1 Corinthians 5:11-13). We reject Baptist Briderism. [Contents]

OFFICES. We believe that there are two divinely appointed offices in a church, pastors and deacons, to be filled by men whose qualifications are set forth in Titus and 1 Timothy. Men who are divorced do not meet those qualifications. A Trustee is not an office or position in our church. Trustees are not found in the Bible. Divorced men (missionaries, evangelists and pastors from other churches) are not permitted to preach from our pulpit. [Contents]

CHURCH & STATE. We believe in freedom of worship without interference from the government and affirm our belief in civil obedience, unless the laws and regulations of civil government  run contrary to the Holy Scriptures (Romans 13:1,7; 1 Peter 2:13-15). [Contents]

JUDGMENT. We believe in the bodily resurrection of all men, the saved to immediately be at the Judgment Seat of Christ for the determination of rewards or loss of rewards. The unsaved at death immediately go to Hell, to await the Great White Throne Judgment at which time their bodies shall be raised from the grave, that they shall be judged and cast into the Lake of Fire, the place of final and everlasting judgment. We believe in a literal heaven and hell. Rom. 14:12 "So then every one of us shall give an account of himself to God." (Matthew 25:46; Mark 9:43-48; John 5:28-29; 11:25-26; II Corinthians 11:13,14; II Thess.1:7-9; Rev. 20:11-15,20) [Contents]

Music in the Church. We believe that our music must be directly related to our understanding of the holiness of God. Our worship of God through music, consisting of hymns and spiritual songs, must therefore be acceptable to a Holy God and must not be tainted nor polluted with any of the characteristics of carnal, worldly music, which appeal to and stimulate carnal reactions. We therefore reject Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) and Contemporary Southern Gospel. (Ex. 15:1; I Chr. 16:9,23; II Chr. 15:14; Ps. 9:11; 40:1-3; 47:6; 118:14; Rom. 15:9; I Cor. 10:31; Eph. 4:29; 5:19; Heb. 2:12; Rev. 5: 9-10; 15:3,4). [Contents]

Ecumenical Movement. We believe that this movement is an attempt to unite different faiths and religions on the basis of the least common denominator of doctrine. It emphasizes love at the expense of truth. It is a betrayal of the unity of believers based upon sound doctrine of the historic Christian Faith. Its method of operation is subversive. Its concept of an ecclesiastical Kingdom is not supported by Scripture. We reject all cooperation with this movement (II Cor. 6:14-17).[Contents]

Neo-Evangelicalism. This movement, while claiming to be fundamental in theology, has actually compromised the underlying principles of the Christian faith. It questions inspiration and literal interpretation; it accepts liberals as Christians, takes a new attitude toward the ecumenical movement, promotes ecumenical evangelism, denies both ethical and ecclesiastical separation, restructures eschatology, and over-stresses the social aspects of the Gospel. We hold this stand to be unscriptural. [Contents]

Neo-Orthodoxy. This theological persuasion is a futile attempt to reconcile the higher scientific Biblical criticism with the true Biblical interpretation. Such an appeal to Biblical revelation is based on half-truths and as such is false and deceptive. We utterly reject this method and position. [Contents]

Tongues Movement. We believe that the gift of tongues was given as a sign to Israel and like the  gifts of Apostleship and prophecy, which were for the founding of the church, is therefore not being given today. We believe that the current resurgence of the practice of tongues, which is not Scripturally regulated and which is usually divisive, is not the Scriptural gift. [Contents]

Sexuality. We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity should be engaged outside of a one-man, one-woman marriage. We believe that any form of adultery, fornication, homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, bestiality, incest and pornography are sinful perversions of God's gift of sex (Gen. 2:24; 19:5, 13; 26:8-9; Lev. 18:1-30; Rom. 1:26-29). [Contents]

Abortion. We believe that human life begins at conception and that the unborn child is a living human being. Abortion constitutes the unjustified, unexcused taking of unborn human life. Abortion is murder. We reject any teaching that abortions of pregnancies due to rape, incest, birth defects, gender selection, birth or population control, or the mental well being of the mother are acceptable (Job 3:16; Psalms 51:5; 139:14-16; Isa. 44:24;49:1,5; Jer. 1:5; 20:15-18; Luke 1:44). [Contents]

Lawsuits between Believers. We believe that Christians are prohibited from bringing civil lawsuits against other Christians or the Church to resolve personal disputes. We believe the Church possesses all the resources necessary to resolve personal disputes between members. We do believe, however, that a Christian may seek compensation for injuries from another Christian's insurance company as long as the claim is pursued without malice or slander (I Cor. 6:1-8; Eph. 4:31-32). [Contents]

Dress. We believe that Christians are not to dress as the world does. God has set a high standard of modesty for us. Men are to wear pants and women are to wear modest dresses or skirts. We reject the unisex movement.  (Dueteronomy 22:5, I Timothy 2:9). [Contents]
